Quartered within a spectacular 19th Century brownstone mansion, less than 50 miles from Washington, D.C., Leesburg, Annapolis and Baltimore, VOLT is located in the heart of Frederick’s nationally-renowned historic district – an architectural treasure trove of 18th and 19th Century buildings which house hundreds of specialty stores, antique shops, bed and breakfasts and restaurants.
VOLT is located at 228 North Market Street in downtown Frederick, MD centrally placed between 2nd and 3rd street. Guests are invited to park in the restaurant parking lot or on the side streets, provided space is available.

When making a reservation you have the choice of dining in our Main Dining Room, Chef’s Kitchen or Chef’s Counter. The Main Dining Room is the more intimate dining option of these experiences, while the Chef’s Kitchen is the dining room that yields full views of our open kitchen. Our a la carte menu is available in the Main Dining Room only, while the tasting menu is offered in both dining rooms.
Table 21 is our chef’s table, which is 8 seats wrapped around our Garde Manger station in the kitchen. During this experience, you are watching the chefs prepare dishes for you as well as the restaurant. You also enjoy a 15 course tasting menu that Chef prepares for you. The cost is $150 per person and additional beverage options are available. The chef’s table is available Tuesday-Thursday 5:30-9:30pm and Friday-Sunday at 5:30 and 8:30pm. Reservations are accepted one month in advance of your desired date at 9:00am by calling the restaurant directly and speaking to a reservationist.
